AGRIDIVINA agricultural cooperative was born in February 2016, from over twenty years’ experience acquired from its founders in the field of production and commercialization of fruit and vegetables produces. It aims to become a leader in the orange business.
The areal production is the Etneo, that extends from the Plain of Catania to the Calatina area, from the Mount Etna slope until the southern area of Simeto. Characterized by different pedoclimates, with variable altitudes from 400 to a few meters A.S.L.
Cultivations involve the areas of Palagonia, Ramacca and Mineo, brushing a part of Militello Val of Catania. Our project expects the aggregation of about 15 companies for an extension of about 100 ha of citrus groves. The area is particularly suitable for the production of red oranges, the microclimate indeed allows a good pigmentation.
Thanks to the lack of seeds, to an easy peeling and to the presence of anthocyanins, which are healthy antioxidant pigments, we can guarantee excellent and typical produces.

The production area is part of the Consorzio di Tutela dell’Arancia Rossa di Sicilia IGP, namely the Blood Orange of Sicily Consortium. There are three pigmented oranges: Moro, Tarocco and Sanguinello.
